Office Rivalry: Hot Mama - Joe meets Frank in the office canteen and has a brainwave that should have been left to the ether.		Office Rivalry: Voodoo Child - Joe turns to the dark side much to the misfortune of Frank. Clearly he hasn't heard of Karma.
Untested Theories - Chester Biggun and his trusty lab technician Frank examine a bunch of lesser known theories in the hopes of advancing science and making breakthrough history. Or something like that.		Bright Idea - You gotta do what you gotta do.
The Waiting - A woman waits for her husband to come home from the rain.		Kinetikid - A boy and his newfound powers!

These pieces were made entirely out of my fingerprints (ink on Bristol board). I used my right index finger to build up the thick, dark patches and my pinky for the finer details. Most of my fingerprint portraits are of iconic people because of our infatuation with celebrity and the idea that we can somehow identify with famous people. They are, after all, human just like the rest of us.



Painting is my least favorite artistic pursuit because it takes forever to set up, can get awfully messy, and the results are always hit and miss. I've tried different things, like newspaper collages, pastel drawings, pencil sketches etc; still, this kind of art doesn't interest me as much as writing. It actually bores me at this point. The Manila art scene bores me too. I imagine I'll return to it all one day. But right now, yawn.
